Common questions about homewatch services.
Most homewatch clients are on a weekly or biweekly visit schedule. We'll recommend a cadence based on how long the property will be unoccupied, the property's risk profile (waterfront, older systems, etc.), and your insurance company's requirements.
Every visit follows a documented checklist: interior temperature/humidity, plumbing for leaks, all appliances and HVAC operation, electrical panels, alarm and surveillance systems, doors and windows, roofline and exterior, irrigation, pool/spa visual check, and any sign of pest activity. Custom checklists available for properties with unique systems.
Within hours of every visit, you receive a photo-documented inspection report by email. Reports include condition notes, any flagged issues, and timestamped photos. If something needs immediate attention, we call you before sending the report.
